Elevate your rainy-day ensemble with the Original Umbrella Sling. Made from reinforced, veg-tan leather, it shows off elegance and effortless functionality. With adjustable straps to attach various different-sized umbrellas and an all-leather cross-body strap, this versatile accessory promises to be your new wet weather essential. Made with solid brass hardware as standard and treated with Goldtop waterproofing balm, they are built to last.
↦ Sturdy roller buckle for easy strap adjustment.
↦ Distinctive hexagon design.
Vegetable-tanned leather is a natural, untreated material that develops a beautiful patina over time.
To help it age gracefully and last for years, follow these simple guidelines:
↦ If it gets wet: The umbrella sling has been treated with a waterproofing balm, so this should protect it from getting too wet. Let it dry in a cool dry place, and we recommend reapplying more waterproofing balm every 2-3 months.
↦ For oil or stains: Avoid using soap or cleaners. Light marks usually fade as the leather absorbs natural oils from your hands. For persistent stains, apply a very small amount of natural leather balm and gently buff with a clean cloth.
↦ Conditioning: Every 4–6 months, or when the surface looks dry, apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or beeswax-based balm. This keeps the leather supple and helps prevent cracking.
↦ Ageing: Over time, the leather will darken, soften and develop a rich sheen. This unique patina reflects your personal use — no two pieces age the same, and that’s part of its beauty.

This is a class bit of kit. I have had mine for a couple of years now and am very happy with it. I have added this review after chancing across the website.
There are no wear marks at all. The leather still appears as new even though I am yet to have re-treated it and believe me it has received a thorough test here in the UK, where I walk most days and it seems to rain on every other one of those.
(It doesn't btw, but hey! :-)
The fittings are real brass and have retained their original brightness with no patina.
As stated elsewhere; it is super handy to carry about as an EDC and sartorially, it is "the absolute dog's danglies!"
(Ahem, perhaps it was put in better English in the other reviews tho? :-)
I certainly feel that I manage to cut a dash through the sodden hordes. Peepl should perhaps abandon their hoodies for this more stylish set-up?
(It may also provide the added benefit of making the 'Crims' easier to spot at a distance, as they would be the only ones still hooded up! :-)
My handcrafted leather umbrella sling in chestnut is truly exceptional. The attention to detail is evident — every stitch is precise, the leather is beautifully finished, and the overall construction feels both luxurious and durable. You can immediately tell that this is a genuine hand-crafted piece made with care, rather than a mass-produced item.
Aesthetically, it is incredibly fashionable. The rich leather transforms what is usually a purely practical item into a statement accessory. I have received numerous compliments on it, with people often asking where it’s from, surprised that something designed to carry an umbrella can look this good.
Living in the UK, where the weather changes frequently, the convenience of this sling cannot be overstated. Having my umbrella comfortably slung and always within reach means I’m never caught out by sudden rain, while my hands remain free. It perfectly blends function and style, making everyday life easier while looking effortlessly elegant. This is an outstanding piece of craftsmanship that I wouldn’t want to be without.
