The Portman Satchel bag is our largest bag, made to look a bit more professional for those work days when you want to impress - or just to sleekify an outfit for a day spent out and about.

The Portman has 2 pockets on the front, both designed to hold all the largest phones and to be easily accessible. Each pocket can be accessed individually thanks to the clever buckle with popper mechanism on both. No need to lift up the whole bag flap just to quickly grab something.

With an adjustable strap and solid brass hardware as standard, all the details have been carefully considered. We didn't want to be fussy with this bag: it's elegant and sturdy in one.

With the signature hexagon stitch design on the back, this bag will draw eyes on the bus, or at the cafe, not just for the details on the front, but for the thought that we've put into both sides.

Bag measures: 33cm (13") wide, 24cm (9.5") tall & 10cm (4") deep.
Each pocket measures: 16cm (6.5") tall, 11cm (4.5") wide and 3cm (1") deep.
↦ Currently only available in black, but other colours coming soon.

↦ Solid brass hardware throughout as standard.
↦ Named after Portman Square in Marylebone, Central London.

Vegetable-tanned leather is a natural, untreated material that develops a beautiful patina over time. To help it age gracefully and last for years, follow these simple guidelines:

If it gets wet: Gently blot (don’t rub) the water with a soft, dry cloth, then let it dry naturally away from direct heat. The leather may darken slightly — this is normal and part of its character.
For oil or stains: Avoid using soap or cleaners. Light marks usually fade as the leather absorbs natural oils from your hands. For persistent stains, apply a very small amount of natural leather balm and gently buff with a clean cloth.
Conditioning: Every 4–6 months, or when the surface looks dry, apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or beeswax-based balm. This keeps the leather supple and helps prevent cracking.
Ageing: Over time, the leather will darken, soften and develop a rich sheen. This unique patina reflects your personal use — no two pieces age the same, and that’s part of its beauty.
